Verification documents

Platforms check your documents before they allow full advertising, a verified name or higher spending limits. You upload each document once in Spark, and use it for every platform's verification.

Upload a document

  1. Open Business identity → Verification documents.
  2. Pick the document type: commercial register, tax card, owner identity, utility bill, authorization letter, or other.
  3. Choose the file: PDF, JPEG or PNG, up to 10 MB.
  4. Tick the consent box: "I agree Spark stores this document encrypted to submit it for platform verification".
  5. Press Upload.

You need the verification.documents permission to see documents, and also launch.write to upload or delete them.

How your documents are protected

  • Encrypted. Each document is stored encrypted. It is decrypted only when someone with permission opens it.
  • Never public. Documents are never put on a public link. They are downloaded only through Spark, after a permission check.
  • Every view is recorded. Each view, download and upload is written to an access log.
  • Only for verification. Your consent is recorded with the purpose: submitting to platforms for verification.
  • Who can see them: people in your organization with the verification.documents permission, and Spark staff who help with your launch. Other businesses never can.

How long they are kept

Documents are kept while you are a Spark client. When you leave Spark, they are kept for 90 days and then deleted.

Delete a document

Press Delete next to it and confirm. This can't be undone.
