Needs you & check now

The "Needs you" list

At the top of your launch page, Needs you lists every item waiting for you. When it is empty you see "Nothing needs you right now."

The two buttons

When you open an item you can:

• I've done it — check now: tell Spark you have finished.
  • If Spark can read the item from the platform, it checks straight away and updates the status. If you pressed it very recently, Spark may wait a little before checking again.
  • If a person has to confirm it, the status changes to Spark is checking and a Spark staff member reviews it.
• Ask Spark to do it: Spark takes the item from here. Staff see your request in their list.

You need the launch.write permission to use these buttons.

How to fix

Each item that a person must do has a short guide:

• numbered steps,
• Copy buttons for your legal name, trade name, email, phone, website, address and description,
• your logo or cover ready to download in the platform's size (upload a logo in Business identity first),
• about how many minutes it takes,
• who is responsible.

If a guide says may be out of date, the platform may have changed its screens since Spark last checked the guide. Follow the platform's own wording where it differs, or ask Spark.

Emails and notifications

• You see changes in the app.
• Once a day, people with launch.read get an email with new Needs you and Needs a fix items. No email is sent when nothing changed.
