Monitor & monthly review

Rolling out

The monitor and monthly review are being rolled out with the strategy workspace.

After you approve your strategy, the monitor shows how marketing is going against your plan.

Goal card

Your goal (for example "40 bookings by 30 June"), progress so far, and whether you are on track or behind. Spark compares your progress with a straight line from the start of the month to your target. Being at 70% or more of where you should be counts as on track.

Numbers per platform

One row for each stage and platform in your plan: the actual number against the target. Numbers come from data Spark already reads: Facebook and Instagram results, TikTok ad reports, and leads in Spark.

If Spark cannot read a number yet, the row says it is not measured yet and shows how to connect it, instead of a made-up number.

Recommendations

Spark shows at most 3 recommendations at a time, refreshed daily. Each one says why, shows the numbers behind it, and gives a short guide. Examples:

  • "Bring the cost per result down"
  • "Catch up with this month's goal"
  • "Check that your ads are running"
  • "Track a number Spark cannot read"

You can dismiss a recommendation and say why. Spark never changes your campaigns or budgets on its own.

Monthly review

Once a month, on your plan's anniversary, Spark reminds you to do a short review in the app and in your daily email. You answer five quick questions:

  1. What changed in your business?
  2. What worked?
  3. Should the budget change?
  4. Any new products or services?
  5. Is the goal still right?

Spark drafts the next version from your answers. You check and approve it as usual.

TIP

If the monthly review is more than 60 days late, the strategy items on your launch page change to Needs a fix until you review and approve again.
