Rolling out
This page describes the strategy workspace, which is being rolled out now.
Your strategy keeps every version. Open Versions to see them.
| Version status | Means |
|---|---|
| Draft | Being worked on. Only one draft at a time. |
| Approved | The plan in force. Only one at a time. |
| Replaced | An older approved plan, replaced by a newer approval. |
| Withdrawn | An approval that was taken back. |
Editing after approval
An approved version is locked: "Approved — editing opens a new version". When you edit:
- Spark creates a new draft.
- Your approved plan stays in force until you approve the new version.
- When you approve the new one, the old one becomes Replaced.
Nothing replaces your approved plan silently.

Use What changed, pick From version and To version, and Spark shows Before and After for every change.
Withdrawing an approval
Someone with strategy.approve can withdraw the approval. If there is no other approved version, the strategy items on your launch page go back to not done until you approve again.
Working language
A strategy is written in one working language, chosen at the start (usually your app language). Teammates who use another language see a translation marked "Machine-translated — the approved text is in …". The approval always covers the working-language text.
