How items are checked

Each item says how it is checked. You see this as "checked by …" on the item.

1. Automatically, by the platform's official API

Spark reads the fact from the platform with your permission, for example whether your Facebook Page belongs to your business or whether your tracking code fired.

  • Checked every night, and whenever you press I've done it — check now.
  • If something that was Done stops being true, it changes to Needs a fix and you are told.

2. By Spark staff, with evidence

Some facts cannot be read automatically. A Spark staff member confirms them and attaches evidence, such as a screenshot.

  • A staff confirmation lasts 90 days. After that, the item asks to be confirmed again.
  • Spark staff cannot mark an item done without evidence.

3. By your plan

Items about your marketing plan (stages 4 and 6) come from your approved strategy in the strategy workspace. When you approve your strategy, they are marked done.

If your plan was made outside Spark, Spark staff can confirm these items with your plan document attached. That confirmation also lasts 90 days.

What Spark never does

  • Spark never types into a platform's sign-up or verification screens. Platform rules forbid it.
  • Spark never owns your accounts. They sit in your business; Spark has partner access.
  • Spark never sees your card. You add payment methods yourself.
